Has anybody come across a "Regents Gallery" that may be based out of Australia? There have been quite a few "authentic hair" pieces of very well known celebrities that have come on the market with Regents certificates of authenticity along with other documentation to verify the genuineness of the hair strands. The stories on the certs seem believable, but the array of hair pieces from big name celebrities makes me think these could be scams. I've seen pieces of Babe Ruth, Michael Jackson, Al Capone, John Lennon, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc....all at very affordable prices. I've purchased some hair memorabilia from University Archives in the past (John Reznikoff), but I think University is more trusted and well known than this Regents Gallery.
I know somebody posted a discussion about this a few years ago, but it seems it didn't get anywhere. Does anybody have any knowledge of this?
Thanks in advance.
