Hi everyone!
See below. I would like to get the other 3 to sign in a marker very similar to what Ace signed with. The problem is that, in this isolated circumstance, I will be unable to use a marker that requires prep work.
I went to three different stores and struck out (Michaels, Target, Staples). I’m told that the Bic Marking Metallics, Staedtlers, and Infinitys work well, but I’m unsure if any of them will somewhat match the Ace signature. Do any of you guys have any thoughts on what I should use?
I’m almost certain that the market Ace used to sign it with at the NJ Kiss Expo this past December wasn’t even a paint pen or prep needed type marker.
thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you can provide!

Update: I just picked up the Office Depot brand metallic markers. They seem to work really well. No prep required and very bold. Only downside is they take a little while to dry. See below on a scrap vinyl I used to test it out on. The smudging was deliberate, I ran my finger on it to test the drying time.
What you're looking for is Uni Paint silver marker medium tip. I've let them sit for months, picked it up and it was still good to go. No prep after you first get it going out of the package. Dries in less than 2 minutes.
I made a post about them back in 2014

I just read your 2014 post. Amazing, and thank you!
You're fairly certain that the pen will still be functional without prep work after the first time you get it going? You've noticed this on more than one occasion?
If so, I'll dump the Office Depot pen (which takes 10 minutes to fully dry) and pick up one of these.
Thank you!
Yep. I've pulled the marker out to use for a miscellaneous job and it ran great. I've let it sit for a couple weeks and used it graphing, came out perfect. Ran it the night before I went graphing, came out perfect the next day. If you run it the day before, you should be fine.
Here is an example of one after the marker sat for 16 hours and then used without prep. This is on a 16x20 luster finish photo.
