Request help in identifying 1930s actors/musicians

Hello all, I would greatly appreciate any help in identifying a couple photos/signatures.  I recently acquired a lot of photos from the 1930s, so I'm assuming these are actors or musicians from that era.

Better late than never … the first one is Scottish stage and film actor Jack Buchanan.  His Wiki entry shows a near-identical autograph:
