Reviews of Goldin Auctions for 75th Anniv Jackie Robinson Items?

Hello Autograph community.  I enjoy browsing the many posts that uncover unscrupulous sellers of fake goods.  As a result, I will probably never purchase another graph in the marketplace.  I learned that I bought a fake 500hr cachet from damark backed up by a madison sports coa. Think it was three hundred bucks back in 1996.  Oh well.  I have many things that I know are authentic and need to consider reputable auctioneers.  I see Goldin has a relationship with The Jackie Robinson Foundation.  Any one dealt with them in the past?  They are gearing up for an anniversary auction in 2022.  The Bear Mountain memento and ticket stub have been in a family scrap book since 47 so I know they are real.  Thanks in advance for responding.

Hi Doug,

Goldin Auctions is reputable and very good at marketing and promotion outside of the traditional sports collecting field. There are a number of excellent sports auction houses, but if the Jackie Robinson Foundation connection is important to you, Goldin should be on your shortlist. 

The Jackie Robinson autograph on the Bear Mountain Inn stationery looks slam-dunk real to me. I'd be surprised if any top, reputable authenticator thought otherwise.

I'm not a ticket authenticator or grader, but that season opening ticket is rare and very desirable. The mount staining in the corners will probably negatively effect the value, but it's still a very nice ticket.

It's not a field I know well but I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell for in the $20,000's today.
