Hey all! I recently purchased this Ronald Reagan signature for around $200 on eBay, which I though was a really great deal. However, before purchasing it I did do a lot of research on his autopens and secretarials (von Damme, in particular). He signed the letter as Ron, and the content of the letter itself is a sort of apology to a couple he knew for displacing them from their seats, back in 1968.

Here's an image of the letter I bought:

In addition, here's a picture of a letter that was authenticated by PSA/DNA with a similar signature, i.e. signed as "Ron":

This letter that was authenticated by PSA/DNA a few years ago was the real deal breaker in persuading that the letter I bought is authentic, due to the similarity in the R.

However, I would really appreciate your opinions on this! The fact that I was able to get this for $175 (it was formerly $275, on a previous listing) was surprising to me, since it is a Reagan. But please let me know what your opinions are, as to authenticity!

Thanks!

Here's a closer look at the signature itself...

I would really appreciate any expert advice on this!

And I did look at the Bill White Signature Study, which did convince me that this was authentic.

Hi,

Perhaps a post at Herman Darvicks wall - he is super with Presidential material.
