I have been a fan since the early days of the band, and wrote to the fan club when Pat & Sue were manning the fort and asked them for an autographed pic of Queen. To my surprise, they sent me one and I have treasured it for the past 40+ years. However, after reading this forum I have a sinking feeling now that the autographs are likely not the real deal, and are secretariats. So I am seeking the opinion of the experts. I am not a collector per se, just a die hard Queen fan. Looking forward to a response ... regardless of the outcome.

Not signed by the band. These aren't Jacky secretarials (started in the early 80s) but the head of the fc before her did it too for fans. That's what these are. Sorry about that.

Thanks for your response Innuendo ... it's as I expected after trawling through the info in this forum, reading about the fraudulent autographs generated by the fan club, and then comparing mine to authentic examples from the 74/75 era.

I’m afraid Innuendo is correct.

Examine the signatures next to the text by Pat and Sue, clearly tells the story.

Very sorry.

The similarities between the Pat & Sue hand writing, and my band “autographs” did not escape me once I started to question their authenticity and looked at them more closely. You and Innuendo have provided me with the confirmation that I was looking for and needed, and I thank you both for that, despite my obvious disappointment.
