Hi,
I have a correction to make. I posted a photo of an Elizabeth Taylor autograph, and I asked for opinions about it's authenticity. In the post I stated that I bought the signature from Rutland Autographs. That was incorrect. I rechecked the purchase information today, and saw that I bought the signature from an outfit called "go-gazelle" off eBay.
I accept full responsibility for my error. And I want to apologize to AutographLive members for making an incorrect statement. Also, I apologize to Phillip.
I've bought a lot of autographs from Phillip Winters, and I've never had a problem with any one of them. That's what I found so puzzling, and disturbing about this autograph.
Anyway. I went back through my records just to double check, and realized that I had made a mistake. Consequently, I'm making this effort to set the record straight. I do apologize to y'all and most of all I apologize to Phillip.
Thanks,
Mike Bratcher
Understood and appreciated, but what I said about his Terms has not changed. Avoid.
"ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC FOR LIFE. IF AT ANY TIME YOU HAVE REASON TO DOUBT THAT AN ITEM IS NOT GENUINE, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO SPEAK TO ME FIRST. IF YOU WISH TO RETURN YOUR ITEM BECAUSE YOU FEEL THAT IT IS NOT GENUINE PLEASE DO SO WITHIN 30 DAYS, YOU MUST PROVIDE THE WRITTEN OPINIONS OF TWO RECOGNIZED AUTOGRAPH DEALERS. UPON THAT INFORMATION I WILL OFFER A FULL REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE PRICE. ANY ITEMS RETURNED AFTER 30 DAYS WILL RECEIVE A CREDIT NOTE FOR THE INVOICE TOTAL."
These terms say a lot. Nothing particularly good. All that is missing is a restocking fee.
