I just won these two cast-signed comic books off auction from VIP Fan Auctions. These are comic books based off of the TV show Vikings produced by MGM. Normally, I want every signed item I have to have either a PSA/Beckett/JSA certification (or CGC Signature Series certification for comic books). However, in this situation, the comics come with a COA directly from VIP Fan Auctions who is MGM's officially authorized prop seller. I am also pretty familiar with the cast's autographs, and they appear legitimate to my (admittedly untrained) eye. I am on the fence in regards to whether or not a the extra piece of mind that a PSA certification will give me is worth the risk of sending these precious items through the mail. What are your opinions on this?
