It's been 5 years since we published our first Band-Signed Beatles Album Census.

It's time to update it!

A history of full-band-signed Beatles album prices would be hugely helpful to the marketplace as well, going back as far as we can, so let's build that, too. Not just from auctions, but reports from collectors and dealers who have sold them.

For starters, please read the 2011 Census, which had a few years of updating and other input added by collectors and dealers.

Add your research and commentary to this discussion for now, and as we get more data, we'll post two separate discussions to fine tune it. Once we feel comfortable with the information we have and what we have determined, we'll publish reports that will help collectors and dealers worldwide make better educated decisions on Beatles album sales and purchases.

These are the results of the 2011 census:

Great idea,it would be great to have a magazine of them, old school.
Hmmmmm perhaps not with so many forgeries floating around. Don't need to feed them any source material.

In this day and age....Well sooo many scans are already out there. There is nothing you can do about it. All you can do when you are buying is do your homework. Technology and scammers always get better with time. It's only going to get worse. Which it is why establishing provenance and a history to an album is critical. And that is why people like Frank and Tracks have been invaluable.

I think your Rubber soul lp just went up in value after the sale of the sgt pepper, Tommy.
Yes i totally agree that getting as much of the story documented for each signed Lp would be a good thing. Can't wait till we get to the signed 45's.

Fab 4 Collectibles sold a signed "Beatles VI" for $143,000!!!

We're finalizing our band-signed Beatles album census. Please look it over and post any additions or corrections here:

Thanks

Are items "single-signed" by Beatles a dime-a-dozen out there?  I went looking for items signed in the 60;s by just a single Beatle, and most everything on line seems to be signed by all 4.  What's the scoop?

We're starting a band-signed Beatles EP record census. Please contribute what you know!

Who sold (if it was sold) the Abbey Road album pictured above, and what did it sell for?

I think it was sold a long time ago and I do believe it was Cathy Salver (Apple Scruffs)

I think it was Tracks, but I'm not sure. Thorston is right, was sold long ago and it was Cathy Sarver's. Cathy's cat peed on George's autograph, which affected it's value.
