Looks super "neat"

Not authentic, IMO.

IMO, I don't think it's legit.

This is a unique signature. I am on the fence. There is on one hand the very neat (almost too neat) formation. The part where it starts to look goofy is the 2nd S. This is odd as it is normally much sloppier now adays. The Beginning S is also fairly strange and has a long and flattened bottom loop. But that doesnt worry me so much.

If i saw the signature based on just the Slash part, then i would probably lean towards not authentic. But the thing that makes me think this is a good signature, just extremely neat and tidy, is the 2012. This is a small detail that most forgers dont get right. Ive seen many Slash forgeries and the date never really gets paid attention too, and the formations are all over the place. IN this example the date looks spot on. Although their can be some difference, slash makes the number 2 almost like a Z and typically follows through on the first 2 into the 0, which is what we see here. If this is a forgery, the forger nailed a good portion of the Slash signature and the date to boot, and i just doubt that that happened.

I tend to think that this item is good, but just a very odd signature, perhaps made out to someone special or signed in a very relaxed atmosphere. It could go either way, but i honestly think it has a good shot at being real.

Here are some 2012 signed guitars that are PSA certed to compare too. Notice the date comparisons. I just picked 3 at random but if you look at more and more you will see the date is spot on.

Very interesting item, regardless of who certed it, its iffy. But im going with authentic on this one.

No good. Although the numbers on the year 2012 look ok at best the signature is not even close when compared to any of the others and more so from the year 2012.. If anyone has ever had Slash sign in person whether there are 20 people there or 3 people there he is NEVER that neat with his signature. The "L" is always looped back down into the first "S" and that is just the beginning. There is way too much wrong with this 1 album never mind 2 or them. This ebay seller "jimdx911" from Youngstown Ohio (Yes Ohio the new stomping ground of forgeries) has not 1 but 2 of the same albums signed almost in the same exact spot on the album and both signatures look almost identical. You can almost lay them both on top of eachother and have an exact match. So although Slash is prob one of the if not the best signer for his stature in Rock and Roll it is highly unlikely that he was this neat when he signed both of those albums. I have 2 photo's from 2012 that he signed and there was only 2 of us there at his hotel and although he talked with us for a good 5 minutes while smoking his cigarette he was still very sloppy with his signature.. I will post them tonight once I dig them out.. I'd be real interested to hear what Roger Epperson would have to say about these and if he looked at them or if JSA just stickered them without sending him scans..

Besides what Jason D was stating, doesn't Slash pretty much have the S to begin with, somewhat level straight across with the rest of his signature or at least the second s in Slash. The so-called signed Slash items offer by jimdx911, he's got the first S dropping down well below the rest of the signature.

Also, that second mahogany signed Slash guitar that Carl was simply showing as an example, IMO, I don't think that's not legit. I believe PSA got that one wrong, which doesn't surprise me, after looking at the total number count of auctions normally listed by authetigraphs, while using PSA for authenticating. I've noticed a few other items PSA let slide by under his auctions that weren't legit.

I agree with what Dexter said about the "S" 's lining up with the rest of the signature. If you study the signatures of Slash he always loops the "L" up into the middle of the "A" and sometimes just behind the "A" but never loops up before the "A". It's just way too neat for a Slash signature.

As far as the second guitar pictured that is good, the first "S" looks a little off but he could have been rushed, the rest of the sig looks good to me.

BOTTOM TWO ON WHITE GUITARS LOOK LIKE SOME OF THE GRAPHS HE HAS SIGNED FOR ME

This is not Slash's signature!

THAT AINT SIGNED BY SLASH I GOT HIM MEGA-TIMES. NOT EVEN CLOSE

besides being neat, the "h" looks all wrong.

Here's my Slash from 2 weeks ago for reference:
