....and just found out that it was out of date and that the prices aren't a good reflection of the market. No updates??? Since 2009??? Why??? Can I get my $5 back. The link popped up on my computer, I guess, cause I frequent this site. Anybody else been had???

^Agree with this. I generally consider printed price guides to be just about obsolete. Looking at realized prices for authentic items at recently closed auctions is a much better barometer. Price guides can't always account for overall desirability of the item signed, signature quality (i.e. rushed versus good example, modern vs. vintage, etc), rapid changes in signature popularity - or rarity (i.e. celebrity death).
Bradford,
I'm sure they'll give you a refund if you're not satisfied. We're not involved in the Sanders App, but they're very good people.
I think an app-based price guide is a great idea. If I have a mobile, up to date price guide that also includes exemplar photos that can prevent me from making a $400 mistake, I would pay a lot more than $5 for it!
