Went to Harvard Square yesterday and it was packed. I asked what was going on and learned that Springsteen was signing copies of Born to Run book at Harvard COOP.  Thousands of people were in line sine 6 am, with tickets they got day before. No way I was going to get in, but  mman you cold even feel his aura outside of the store which it onlt  a blovk away from when he performed that famous Harvard Square show in the 70s when a journalist gave a review-:I have seen the future of rock and it is Springsteen!

Springsteen is living like the 70s when fan access was more common I think.  Here is a great performance by todd rungren and fans

I flew to NJ for the Freehold event and I'd do it again tomorrow. First class guy. He showed up 2 hours early to avoid the forecasted rain, I believe. He appeared to be as happy to meet with his fans as we were to meet him. He gets it.

I'm not a super fan, just a moderate one. But I like the way these were handled.2019 I believe Elton John is going to have a book.

According to reports from Bruce's press briefing with European media yesterday in London, he said that he had to sign 17.000 books in the past couple of weeks joking he might even end up in Guiness Book of Records for signing that many autographs. That's pretty much matches up with my estimates of 15-20.000 pre-signed books in existence. I strongly believe that hundreds of them will flock the market in the upcoming weeks and value of those pre-signed copies might drop to $200 or even less. It's a good time to grab Bruce's signed piece if you missed out on those book promo events!

at 10 seconds per signature,  that 50 hrs!

Think the usa got the better deal not really liking the bookplate ones in the uk from the ones ive seen

Jimmy Carter signed 2,000 books in two hours in San Diego (La Jolla) at a book signing. I don't know why...these guys don't just do things like this. Springsteen could sell autographed books on his website. $75 each. He can say that the cost of the book is $30, and the rest you pay, goes to a charity of his choice. EVERYONE would buy them. He could sign 2,000 in two hours (if an Ex President can)...and it would be the BIGGEST selling book of all time. AND...every fan that wants one would get one. It would also kill the market for re-sale, etc. It's a win win for everyone.
