The first Carrie Fisher autograph looks pretty typical to me.  I would not be interested in adding the second Carrie Fisher autograph to my collection.  I would also be very cautious about adding a Daisy Ridley autograph to your collection unless you know that the seller is trustworthy.

Thanks for the info. I think that the 1st Carrie Fisher auto (black and white photo) is good...

Daisy's auto is at a very cheap auction... so... I have my doubts

If you cant figure out the basic SW graphs please by all means avoid any Daisy...

The first Carrie Fisher is 100% her secretary.

The second Carrie Fisher is 100% a forgery.

The Daisy is 100% a forgery.

Anything specific about the secretarial Pete?  I am always interested in learning.  The "C" is smaller than usual and the flow between the "F" and "i" is a bit off, particularly the fishhook.  There is also that pause at the end of the "e" that is concerning.  Other members may want to know what to look for as well.  Thanks in advance.

Everything you noticed is all part of it, but the main difference between Carrie and her latest secretary is the C into the a. and the s into the h. The r's throughout are also to perfectly formed, unlike Carrie's.

Carrie's C comes from below the a, while the sec comes from over the a. Carrie's s closes at the base and shoots straight up to the h, while the sec curls back under the s before starting the rise to the h.

yes first carrie sec, other two bad fakes,, carries genuine sig is more compact on the [fisher]there is a rumour being going round for years that her mother is responsible for signing for her [alas the secs] but who knows,,debbies sig ttm for instance is secretary for sure,,her sig is a lot rarer than most think and is only available either via venue or ip

That is an interesting point Automan.

Debbie did sign for Carrie in the late 80's into the 90's but she hasn't in close to 20 years.

A friend actually brought a photo of mother & daughter, signed Carrie by Debbie, to a Fisher signing and asked Carrie to sign Debbie's name.

Carrie obliged and I think that is one of the greatest "fun" items out there.

Ha!  That is great.

Awesome.  Thanks again Pete.
