I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Hi Robin,

Obviously, a cast signed poster or large picture from New Hope, but the cost is clearly prohibited for me. Then it would be a Fisher, Hamill, Ford group pic from A New Hope (but a nice one). But again, cost is the factor. You know what's really sad. I was at Vancouver's Fan Expo where Carrie Fisher was signing, but I had to stay at my booth and flog my wares and so missed her as she signed for only a limited time on the day my wife couldn't make it to watch the table. I'm not a HUGE collector. I only want one autograph of each, hopefully as many together as I can get on one item so I can frame it and put it on a wall-hence the cast signed poster want. What about you? I'm going to assume you're a hug collector what with all the pics you posted. How long have you been collecting?

I collect where I can Rob. You aren't going to get a group shot cheap. Understand about cost completely. It may be cheaper to do single purchases. What is your overall budget and where do you reside? Carrie Fisher is pretty cheap and easily obtainable, from the right source. Mark Hamill is slightly more difficult, but I would recommend going through an IP company for this and Harrison, well, Celebrity Authentics are doing a Ford signing and their autos are surprisingly reasonable, around 250 dollars. A good buy If you can find a way to cut out customs charges.

Sorry you missed out on Carrie, Robert. I bought a Carrie and Mark dual signed autograph once and that turned out to be a forgery. Was disappointed but the good news was I wasn't done over majorly, price wise. I share your pain.

One word of advice. When you get your item, make sure you protect it well. Ink exposed to light will diminish it without the right protection. Museum grading is the way to go.

I'd say overall you would be looking at around five to six hundred dollars for all three separately. Harrison will cost the most and Hamill won't come cheap, either. I guess it's a case of how much do you want it? You only live once, Robert. My advice would be to go for it. I've been collecting autographs all my life. Got quite a few at home. Check my photos and let me know what you think.

I am in the market for Hamill and Fisher.

Celebrity Authentics price point on Harrison is $250?

Was this published somewhere? Last time it was $500-$600 for a non poster and thousands of dollars for a premium piece.

The $250 represents a deposit for the preorder, the 8x10s start at $579 full price. I ordered a poster and they said the remaining balence will be due within 30 days of the signing date which is still TBD, but tentatively scheduled for August.

Now that makes perfect sense. If that $250 price was correct, I would have had to cash in my Gold and my retirement fund.

lol. I thought it was that too. Well, hoping it was that.

I am still waiting for the Celebrity Authentics Christian Bale private signing Mike T.

Yeah, I know, not the most reliable but I know it will happen eventually and it's literally the only way to get a decent Ford autograph on a movie poster in silver sharpie so i figured what the heck.

I am sure that Harrison Ford will honor his commitment.  Let's just hope that he does not fly any airplanes in the near future.

Any thoughts on this Phil Brown?

The Phil looks good, probably mid 90's

Thanks Pete. I though it looked good, but wanted to make sure.
