I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

I'm sure we have all heard the answer...It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Star Wars 8x10 shots always bring a premium, and because there are enough around, thanks to Alec's willingness to sign thru the 80's and most of the 90's. uninscribed shots are on par with a Harrison Ford $250-$350 for meh sigs and meh shots. $500 plus for better shots or better sigs, and the occasional $1000+ for standout pieces.

Inscribed shots are also around and you can usually get a good deal on them $200 or less.

Very nice Pete.

Lovely Guinness.

Gorgeous piece, Pete!

Will do Mike. This years event is more related to BTTF than anything else as I am sure everyone knows, this year is their 30th anniversary. I wanted to meet MJF but not paying close to 300 for it. Too much. Sigourney Weaver was about 250 and I would have loved to have met her, too. However, at the very least, I have got a diamond pass to meet the legendary Robert Englund.

For Star Wars, I don't believe there is that many of the bigger names attending, this year. That could all change mind. The event itself takes a huge chunk out of your wallet, haha. I think people like Kenny Baker and Dave Prowse are going, but not one hundred percent on that.

Can I get your opinions on this williams album?  Thanks guys.

Hits most of the usual expectations......I've just never seen him sign with such a curved baseline. That being said, I seriously doubt any forger could even come anywhere near as close to his graph.

Thanks Pete, you're the best.

Father's Day gift, thanks to a not too subtle hint:-)

If anyone wants to hook up for LFCC this year, let me know :) I have a gold pass but at the moment, there's not that many guests who are going who are SW related. Wish I could live in the US and go to some of those conventions as they attract some big names, here and there. What I would've given to meet Sly Stallone. I missed Arnie last year as well in the UK for his black tie event and would've easily paid £1500 to meet Arnie - am a big fan.

Anyways, if anyone wants to hook up, let us know.

Cheers, Robin
