Hi Guys,

Hoping to get some opinions on this piece featuring Hamill, Fisher and Ford. I tried looking at vintage autographs of the three, and I do feel like there's a good chance this is authentic. Thanks!

Ford looks unusually heavy handed and slow. His signature is usually fairly light and quick. It might also be the material being written on, though. If that's a paperback book, the color pages might be thick enough (relative to the surrounding newsprint grade paper) to explain why the signature looks so heavy.

Yep it is a paperback book.

This is real, signed by the three at a press tour stop for Star Wars in 1977. If I remember correctly it was at a comic book/book shop in Canada.  The only things available for them to sign were the novelization, Marvel's Star Wars comic #3 and a few of the theater sold souvenir booklets.

Wow.  That is some incredible insight Pete.  Well done.

Thanks guys!

Any ideas on the value as well on a piece like this?

It's a fun piece with great early signatures from all 3, unfortunately it does not present or display well. Having signatures on different pages, and sometimes on the back of each other....makes it really tough to do anything with.  I have seen plenty offered at $750-$1250, but they never seem to sell. I'd expect it to be a much easier sell at about $350-$450

Thanks Pete! I saw one book with more signatures with an asking price of $799, and I also remember one being shown here a while back, but can't find it. That range was what I was thinking as well.

That actually might be worth it, if it has Lucas and some of the the costume characters.
