The Spencer Davis Group, when Stevie Winwood was with him, was one of my favorite bands way back then.

Can anybody give me an idea of their authenticity?

When did you buy this?

At least 15 years ago.

Did you meet Spencer Davis some time after?

In fact, I met and had Spencer sign it not too long ago.  My main concern in retrospect is the Winwood signature.  I understand that long ago, before he switched to his SW in a circle signature, he used to sign long hand.  Similar to this.

Hi - sorry to say the long hand Steve Winwood is not genuine. Both the "teve" and the Winwood are almost identical replicas of each other. I own rushed full Steve Winwoods and unrushed Winwoods and all share the same characteristics, but none like this example. A true Winwood has:

1. A distinctive S for Steve

2. The d at the end of his name is generally looped back to form an underline.

The vast majority of Winwood autograph examples on Google search images are also not legitimate.

Bonus fact: The SW shorthand signature is generally done in America as there are so many more fans en masse to sign for - in the UK he reverts back to the fuller version...great example below for comparison

the winwood isn't real or close to anything he used to sign

I've got a few in person from him in the UK in recent years and they are all SW. One of those times, I was the only person there and he chatted and the graphs were totally unrushed.
