Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.
thanks
Mark

well if anything, the signature as I can see in that vintage photo matches up pretty well with the paid TTMs that have been posted here, but not the signed books. Just my opinion of course. Also remember this photo is from the 60s.
Please...Steve - not again. People who think Jerry Lee Lewis signed those books will always think that. Nothing is going to change their minds... and that is ok.

That's because he did sign the books. PSA agrees and got it right. However, you choose to send JLL signatures to a TPA that I believe has authenticated JLL forgeries and signature stamps, and that's okay too.
That is your opinion Ballroom.
I have owned and still own over 20 Jerry Lee Lewis signatures - Signed contracts, Guitars, Posters, and checks. NONE of them look like the books that PSA authenticated.
Curious how many of these books do you own Ballroom?? 1, 2 or more than 5??
Mark
Mark, that is because JLL did not sign the books. Almost everyone accepts that at this point.
I couldn't disagree more. Claims that JLL didn't sign the books seem to be pretty limited, and the books are still selling for good prices. Does the same group of "almost everyone" also accept that the Best Buy "Mean Old Man" CD signatures are secretarial as was claimed?
Agree!
two comments, there appear to be two JLL signatures on the poster. which one are you looking at? the one on his forehead looks like his authentic style. it matches one that I have that was obtained in person in Nashville.
what conclusion are you trying to arrive at? the books? that one is obvious.
