Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

Mark

Really would like to know about the price increase to 200.00. If that is true, I think its too huge a jump from 100.00.  I guess I could contact Judith about it.

That would be surprising. The price increase to $100 apparently was a response to claims that they were selling secretarial signatures. Is there a new accusation that I’m not aware of?

Looking thru all this brings back memories of a better time in the world.  I never did post the last TTM I got from Jerry Lee I guess about a year 1/2 before his stroke.  I contacted Judith first as always who assured me he was still signing.  Here it is.  Now the 'To Steve' looks like it was in another hand.  Compare to the more cursive S's Jerry usually writes.  But the autograph?  Has the characteristics of Jerry's sig although a bit neater.

I know, Steve. I also have great memories of discussing JLL signatures. Anyway, you did post this one. I think it’s entirely in the hand of JLL, written continuously.

ok thanks.  Since this thread is like 100 pages I couldnt remember lol.  The good old days!

Who is the idiot who started this thread???

Wait.. that was me.

LOL!

Mark, It was fun revisiting it.  Best thread ever on this site!

People here expressed disdain for Iconic Auctions, but this looks good to me and has a Roger approval. Notice the cursive S unlike the recent one I posted on the Sun LP

Exactly - looks like an older man signed this.

Mark

I think the sig on my SUN LP may be good, (sitting down while not rushed), but I do think the To Steve is not in his hand. I have received others with the cursive S like above years ago.  The London Sessions was signed IP according to the site and those situations result in a more rushed autograph

Do you still feel that your signed debut LP is authentic? It doesn’t look like an older man signed it.
