Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.
thanks

Thanks all for looking and for your comments.... this is a very interesting 'study'. I was able to spend a few minutes with him in his dressing room prior to the concert - he called me 'killer' and everything. The top image is from - what in my opinion - is an excellent concert poster. We're offering the original signed by JLL and some beautiful reprints on ebay if anyone is interested. If we're not permitted to 'advertise' here, please feel free to edit delete this. Thanks.
It looks ok to me. Do you have any info on where and when this was signed?
In my opinion, yes. I appreciate your desire to show similarities with certain TTMs, but the slant and lettering of the bottom one do not look like the in person exemplars.
The Jerry in the bottom one looks especially off to me.
What’s interesting is that the original J in ‘Johannes’ looks similar to the J in ‘Jerry’. It obviously didn’t take, and the rewritten J looks more like the one in the top example. The first “To” that didn’t come out well is cursive, while the second is in block letters. I believe that JLL varies his “To”s in that he uses both cursive and block letters.
Its a yes for me Ballroom. I think more JLL autographs would lean to authentic if the inscriptions were also written by him. This one all seems to be in his hand. Unfort many of the TTMs have the 'To' and other inscriptions written by whomever and it casts doubt on the autograph as a whole. I have a 'To' written with a totally different T. Just a straight T. Obvious Judith or someone else wrote it and the Steve as well. Then I also have a To Steve written in the tall cursive S which I believe is in Jerry's hand. Its why this thread is 7 yrs old and still going strong lol.
If you want a good laugh, do an ebay search for Jerry Lee Lewis signed BAS.
Beckett has passed virtually every style that has been discussed here. So according to BAS, they are all authentic.
He alternates between cursive and block letter “To”s. You can see it in the SP above that’s signed to Johannes. When it’s block letter, the T usually starts with the crossbar. You can see the block letter T formation better here:
The same person also received a cursive ‘To’. Compare it to the one in the SP signed to Johannes.
so he also alternates between cursive and block S? I find it hard to believe. I also dont think the last 2 images and the To Johannes you posted are legit when compared to IP examples.
