Stunning Joan Crawford signed portrait I hope is authentic

This magnificent signed portrait of Joan Crawford  is currently on eBay and I'd like to pursue it, but need to make sure it's authentic.  Sadly some nitwit trimmed it from it's original 10"x13" to 9"x12"

According to Tom's description. The original photo when issued was 11x14. Both the eBay listing and his has been trimmed down. George Hurrell MGM studio portrait.
