UPDATE 1-26-2022: It took some time, but was able to get it to the Authenticators. They inspected it and it is Authentic, received the paperwork, COA with hologram, so it was a great weekend. I am so thankful to GOD for the blessing too. They also said they showed it to all their music colleagues and they loved it too. Just wanted to give a update. Everyone have a Blessed rest of the week.

New to the Forum and glad to be part of it. Your help would be Greatly Appreciated. My wonderful Parents saved their hard earned money & bought me this great Phil Collins autographed tambourine as a Christmas present, I was so surprised & Love it. Also do you all recognize this company ? The company they purchased it from said they have 25 years experience in the business and have ads showing they put on autograph collectible events & at the events JSA authentication will be there. The company is called Championship Caliber out of Florida, they have had tons of instruments & etc autographed items on Etsy & etc sites. The autographed Tambourine came with their COA which is really neat & like a plastic credit card. I would love to have other opinions of the authenticity, so again your help would be so appreciated.

Beatles410, Thank You. I guess a lot of items this company sale are not real and it just heartbreaking for all who has purchased the items.

You have 160 days to get a claim back from PayPal. You need to collect all the evidence to build a case, so PayPal will decide in your favour.

Mikex, I appreciate the information. I will start getting everything together.

Great work, the signature as they say is real but definitely printed. I would ask Roger Epperson and ask him to confirm if it is a print.

Then raise a claim through PayPal, send the item back fully tracked and insured and then once delivered you should get the money back.

I feel terrible for you and your parents as it is a wonderful present and they would not know and sadly so many scammers take advantage of this but you should get your money back

I don’t think it’s a print, I think it’s a tracing. Look at the tile photo.

Either way it's not genuine sadly

Mikex, Thanks Again So Much for your help.

The only thing I will say is I've had 2 disputes on Paypal and both I needed a 3rd party to verify the item was a fake/ not original so you may need this to definitely have them rule in your favour

Dan, OK I will reach out to Roger. Yes it was the best present and my Parents just trusted they was a reputable company.  I appreciate the information. Thank You So Much for your help.

Your best bet might be to send it off to be authenticated, so it can be closely inspected. You will then have the necessary evidence

Mikex, OK I will wait on contacting Paypal because I don't want to give it up if it is authentic. I will go and reach out to get it checked out for authenticity. Thanks Again for all of your help.
