Remember the non-animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas, from 2000 when Jim Carey brilliantly portrayed the Grinch? 

Well, remember 7yo little Cindy Lou Who, the endearingly cute little girl who stole the Grinch’s heart?  That was the 7yo version of Taylor Momsen who went on to have a recurring role on The Gossip Girl from the ages of 12 to about 16.  

But Taylor voluntarily gave up her acting career for hard rock.

Well Cindy Lou Who is now a beautiful 26yo heavy metal rocker chick with the rock band, The Pretty Reckless.  Taylor is the lead singer...and she’s pretty damn good.

I listened to a few of their songs.  They’re really pretty good!  And you thought heavy metal was dead?  Not if Cindy Lou Who has anything to say about it.

I guess kids grow up.
