Hi all-

Really appreciate the knowledge on this website. Have been a bottom of the barrel hof ball collector for a while but my pops wants to get me a Ted Williams ball for my bday. Any suggestions on where to get it? Looked on eBay but am REALLY scared to buy anything not psa or jsa. Thoughts?

Totally agreed. This was more of an adventure lottery ticket buy. I'm fairly sure it will be a letdown but thought I would give it a shot.
I think all three are bad. The first one is bad, the second one is really bad, the third one is questionable. Each ball features characteristics of a typical forgery. There are some shaky spots on each ball, plus a few other areas that I am wary of.
Third one is an obvious forgery in my opinion, but the first two don't look bad to me, but again, I'm not that familiar with Williams.

Current collection.   All balls in home plate cases are Hofers.   Some PSA...some JSA.....some neither.   Did my due diligence on the sellers and hopefully don't have more than a couple iffy ones.   Others are favorite players/steroids guys.

I don't know much about baseball, but great display, Nick! Just curious, what percentage did you collect in person, as opposed to purchased? Living over here in Oz, and reading between the lines on this forum, it's quite hard to collect baseballers (outside of the 'spring carnival' season)?

Nice collection, well done.

Love the display Nick, Nicely done!

The majority are purchased as it is generally cheaper than in person. The experience in person would be amazing but many of these guys are either deceased or fairly expensive.

Sidebar have a very good friend here in Milwaukee from Melbourne.

Thanks fuddjcal!
