The Commodores

Guy selling says he was a DJ in the 70s/80s and met many acts including commodores, appears to be signed by Thomas McClary, Ronald La Pread and William King. He has a part signed Drifters album which again looks 100% accurate, Comparing online they look good, any thoughts please? 

Please don't compare to the autopen signed posters that came with the vinyl as they look nothing like any signatures out there.

Those backstories always raise an eye. The signatures may (or may not) be good but the very poor contrast is the issue here IMO. For me it eliminates the item.

I get your point but surely everything (if genuine) has a legit story to its background? I have a Beckett authenticated Robert Plant that came with a mammoth story behind it and I also have a Beckett authenticated band signed Aerosmith with no story behind it 🤷

In my experience the more fanciful the story, the higher chance of it being fake. Especially stories like this one where it is custom designed to prevent you from questioning the authenticity.

Stories don't bother me unless bordering on very personal (I was there bodyguard etc) and this story doesn't sound fanciful too me.
