Hello everybody. This is my first time on here, my first post. I am a beginning collector, and wish to seek eagles authentic autographs. I have a chance to buy from the guy who has the largest eagles collection, the guy with 400 plus pieces, anyways, he's selling an 11x14 and I'm not sure if it's legit. Opinions? He does sell quite often and his website is loaded with genuine stuff.

This is a Jackson Browne you said you got in person:

Here's a Jimmy Buffett you said you got in-person:

Here's a "We Are The World" signed album. I don't think you said whether or not you got it in-person:

Here's a Madonna signed photo that you sold on eBay for $199:

You said you got this Madonna in-person.

Here's another Madonna you had listed, Stephen, for $230 buy it now, but it didn't sell.

You said you got it in-person as well. This is what you said:

I received this signature in person in 1989.  There is no dispute as to the authenticity of this autograph as it is the real deal. However, all 3rd party authenticity services are your responsibility as I will no longer pay for their often unreliable and unethical services (most of them, not all of them). Your happiness equals my happiness and I will treat you as well as I would ask you to treat me. I WILL GLADLY OFFER A FULL 30 DAY REFUND OF THE FINAL PRICE, IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. You can bid with 1000% confidence.

This madonna has some pretty bad traits, especially for the time period he said that he got it in.

Who knows Rush? I don't. Stephen sold this one on eBay for $249.

He said he got it in-person in 1989. These are his exact words:

I received this signature in person in 1989.  There is no dispute as to the authenticity of this autograph as it is the real deal. There are tons of these out there just like this. Looks like those you see on ioffer and Craigslist. Not authentic. Might fool the folks at PSA or JSA though. Some of these Rush sigs seem too.

These RUSH appear to be authentic and fit into 1989 form

Maybe some concern w/ Geddy?

No way to tell for sure unless it's inspected in hand unfortunately

These are legit or someone has been coached VERY well to do these.

EDITED

I have it on good authority that these Rush are indeed 100% Legit

It appears it was bought for resale purposes and we know where this item was obtained from.

... his description that he got them "in person", appears to be a fabrication !!!!

This is a very interesting thread and worth the read !!!!!

Odd that Duncan has not one Rush signed example in his webpage collection.

Here's a Van Halen signed album, "priced to sell" at $249, but didn't for some reason.

You said you got it in-person, too. This is what you wrote:

There is no dispute as to the authenticity of this autograph as it is the real deal because I got it in person and was there when it was signed. AUTHENTICITY and 3rd PARTY AUTHENTICATORS may give you that warm fuzzy feeling with a signed piece of paper, however, they make countless number of mistakes as they rely upon recent examples and do not know or have an inventory of older signed items. Further, they were not there when this item was signed. ALL 3rd party authenticity services are your responsibility as I will no longer pay for their often unreliable and sometimes even unethical services (most of them, not all of them).
