What does the group think of this?  The seller says its the last one he has and wants to sell it because he tried to get Nesmith on it but to no avail.  Is it worth getting?  Does he ever sign?

Mike played some NYC shows with Peter and Mickey last fall and didnt sign a thing.  Basically that is why this LP is up for sale.  I just want to know if the other signatures look ok for everyone.  I may try Mike in NYC if I get this LP.

Nice! Here's my fully signed drum head, which was sold through Rhino.

I myself am deeply jealous (borrowing a quote from the Monkees). I'm also trying to find one authentic item with all 4 signatures that i can display and keep. Been a fan 43 years and don't have any signed items. I did buy a Lp last christmas which turned out to be fake, The search continues.

I'm sure you'll find one. They've signed quite a few items, and the pre-fab four is a heck of a lot cheaper than the fab four.

I've been looking for months. So far everything i've found signed by all 4 Monkees is fake. If anyone is interested in selling a genuine item signed by all of the guys, let me know.

They all look good to me and I've met all three. Although, hate to break it to you, I've heard nothing but horror stories on Nesmith. He is a terrible signer which is why it's tough to find ones that are complete.

Yes I have heard the same stories.  I heard he sells signed items through his website, but we need complete Monkees!

He must have changed in recent years because apart from Davey he was the nicest when the band toured the U.K. in 1997. We sat in the bar with him for at least two hours chatting at the Copthorne Hotel in Manchester about Music and lots of other subjects in which he seemed really talkative and interested. He didn't have anything to do with the rest of the band at all though preferring to be either on his own or with other people. When they left to go and play in Bournemouth he got a lift to Manchester Airport where a private jet transported him in about 40 minutes whilst the others had a 5 hour road journey ! The power of his mother's inheritance ? The one who wasn't particularly nice and would only do 1 each and snarled at anyone trying to get more was Peter Tork. Funny how on different days and in different moods we all respond differently. Here is just one set of cards I got myself over a 6 day period as they used Manchester as a base to travel to all their other gigs.

The Monkees Music Signed cards Autographs

Here is my other signed in-person piece tha needs Mike on it.  Guess they will stay this way.

This is from the FAQ section of his website:

Q: What's the deal with Nez and autographs?
A: Generally, Nez does not give autographs. So if you write to request a picture, or an autograph, we can't help you. Having said that, he will from time to time sign some of the things we sell here at Videoranch, and he is pretty good about including a special greeting if you ask for it. So far, he has signed every copy of Neftoon, (he comes in every few weeks and signs a stack) but to our knowledge he has never sent out a pure autograph, or a signed picture. Why? Nez seriously dislikes professional autograph collectors, since their purpose is to get something for free and sell it. There is no way to tell who is who, so he generally says "no". (This reason is probably the origin of the framed signed autograph we have for sale in the Merchandise section of our store; although it turns out this makes a pretty nice gift for someone) Bottom line: you can request an autograph on anything you buy at Videoranch and there is a decent chance we can get it for you, otherwise, xfraid not.

He should chill a bit.  Monkees fans are getting older and chances are most of them would never sell anything signed. Even if a few did, why does he care?  He is rich beyond belief.  If he doesn't like signing for free, fine, he can charge at shows just like the others do and did (RIP David).  Autographs is a business and there are many shows which pack in the crowds.  I was always hoping someone would hold just a music show , with no TV or movie people, just music people.
