Thurman Munson Authenticity. Real?

Just wondering about the authenticity and thoughts on this baseball.....oddly enough on a little league baseball signed at a little league game attended by Munson in 1979

Is the ball plastic coated or leather? Either way it looks like it was signed yesterday. It could just be the camera glare. Could you show a better pic?
