Hello Fellow Collectors,

I hope all is well.

I have another one for you guys. A buddy of mine is looking at this. It has a JSA cert and may be one of the nicest single signed Munson balls I have ever seen.

It is on a non official ball. (Catfish Hunter All Star Ball).

Opinions on Authenticity?

$8,500 is asking too much?

100% authentic and absolutely beautiful. early 70's.  considering the prices I have seen being asked on photos with folds and tears, I do not believe the price is out of line, considering the scarcity. whether or not someone will pay it is another story.

He penned it '76 on the side of the sweet spot. If you look at the right side of the picture you can barely see it.

I believe exactly what you guys have said. $8,500 is a pretty big nut though.

If my friend does not buy it I may since this is so beautiful. But my dream of the Ruth goes away for a couple of years. I spent part of the "Ruth Fund" on that Gehrig.

I agree with the other members Dan.  This is the type of item that a collector may regret passing on in the future.

William,

I would not say I was targeting Munson, but he was most definitely always on the list.

My father loved Munson. In fact my oldest brother was almost named Thurman until my mother put her foot down. He tried it again with me but my dear mother won out again!

He wore #15 in high school as did I.

My buddy has first dibbs. I hope he takes it so I don't have to make a decision.

Ruth is the bucket list ball gentlemen, but there are more Ruth's than this...

There is no dibs on Items like this If it were a Munson ball or a Friendship..I would choose the Ball,Friends come a dime a dozen but that ball sir does not!!

Dont be a Roy Munson!!!

About ten years ago I had a chance to buy a Munson single signed ss signature as nice as this for 1200. I offered 600 and then pulled back.

that my friend would be a Roy Munson!!Hey Terrier how ya brother!!

Wasn't he the Iowa state champ in '79?
