Recently, I was learning about TTM. I found on Fanmail and Startiger that a large number of stars use automatic autograph / secretary autograph / pre-print, not just famous stars.

I plan to use Giclee to print photos (expensive, longer photo life, better results), Counting other expenses, the total cost of a letter is nearly $ 10. If I want to send more letters, the cost will increase.I may get a real auto / false auto / no response. I won’t worry about the high cost of TTM, but I can’t quickly know its authenticity unless I spend a lot of time checking the autograph details. . . I can't stand to collect a fake autograph!
I can buy a signed photo with PSA or JSA certification on eBay for $ 40 ~ 80, if you buy a lot, the total price is more expensive. Compared with TTM, I'm more assured of PSA or JSA certification, without the trouble of authenticity, but it is more expensive and I can not control the quality of the photo paper.
What do you think? Will you choose TTM or buy a certified autograph?

P.S: I live in China, so I can’t get the autograph in person.

You are taking a risk either way. I recommend using Beckett/PSA quick opinion option for any Ebay purchase for reassurance or posting a photo here. There are many members who will gladly help and are extremely knowledgeable.

For TTM it's hit or miss. There are some celebs I wrote to that have stellar reputations with honest signatures and there are others who are very likely a secretarial or forgery. But the point is unless you see the autograph signed in front of you there is no guarantee but it's still worth a try. Good luck. Do the research on StarTiger feedback and other sites and Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, Beckett / PSA quick opinion is a good choice,
I will continue to check the feedback from Startiger / Fanmail, which is helpful.

Buy a certified autograph.  Quality over quantity.  Best of luck.
