Hi guys.

I have a favor to ask. I am considering buying this book privately. I was wondering if I can get an opinion on this signed book U2 by U2. Is there any experts who can render an opinion on it. It seems okay to me  from looking at other examples but I realize that this is also a band that we would see forged.

Roger if you see this can you please give me your thoughts.

Thanks for your help.

I'm tempted to buy this one myself . . .

Absolutely authentic.. No doubts about that!
Great signature!  Go for it!
Tempted - it's nicer than many of the really sloppy B's I see collectors peddle . . . neat choice of photo too.  Alas, I have 3 authentic ones, including one I got myself, so parting with $175 for another one would be hard to justify to the wife!

see it as an investment:) The value of a good Bono signature will only increase in the future...

Wow, this must be some weird kind of joke...

Hi guys. I really appreciate you all sharing these with me. I would really like to get a piece with all four members of the band who have signed.

On another note, please feel free to let me know if any of you have a piece you would consider parting with at a reasonable price as well. This would be for a true fan.

All the best,

David

Finding the whole band at a good price can be tricky, but it's possible.  I'll keep my eyes open.

David, I think I probably already posted it in this thread, but there's a nice facebook page by U2 Eastlink - U2graphs.....by u2eastlink.com    It isn't really meant as a buy/sell/trade type of forum, but more of a way of posting authentic examples for fans to see, appreciate and compare.  However, if you want to state your intent to purchase an item, it's possible you might find a fan willing to part with an item.  It's also a fantastic cross reference should you find an item in an online store that you're interested in.  Max will certainly be interested in helping you out as far as determining authenticity, as will several other fans - many of whom have met the band several times themselves.

Awful.  But it is odd that Clayton is the only one that looks like it's on target.  Seems like a lot of forgers royally blow that one.  But the rest are miserable attempts.  I swear I've seen this forgers U2's a number of places before. . .
you have......
Ha, thought so.  I can't really remember where though.  I suppose probably somewhere on ebay.
