Hi All,

I started collecting signed guitars a few weeks ago, and just purchased this guitar signed by all members of U2.  My understanding is, this guitar was purchased at a 2001 charity event.  I've scoured the internet for signatures and they seem to match, but was hoping I could get others opinions?

Also, if anyone has a good authentication service in Los Angeles, could you please let me know?  PSA sounds soooo complicated and expensive!

exactly well put been saying this for years

No good. I would try and get your money back A.S.A.P.

Get your money back through EBay's Protection policy.  They are usually pretty good about this. This guitar is as fake as they come.

Thanks.  Yeah, I've already reached out to the seller in hopes he "works" with me on this.  This sucks though...

I also posted this in the Eastlink FB page, but I'll post here as well.  This appears to be signed by the same forger. In fact, I'm almost certain it is:

woooow, that really does look like the exact same signatures!

When you look at this particular one, you can see that not only are the signatures completely wrong, they were pretty decidedly signed by the same hand.

totally!  This is very very interesting!  Nice detective work!  I knew there were fakes, but had no idea just how bad it is!

At any given time, there tend to be very few authentic (sometimes only a couple) full-band U2 pieces on Ebay.  The prices seem to have gone up sharply in recent years as well.

Agreed prices going up as from what I am reading it is hard to get them to sign. Supply and demand issue.
