I thought this might be cool. Tell what concerts you are going to see. Let us know if you liked or disliked the show. Maybe show a picture, autograph, guitar pick, drumstick, or a cool story .

Got tickets to Guns N Roses concert in Copenhagen, Denmark next year!! Great Christmas gift, really looking forward to seeing my childhood idols!!

Now I must have autographs by Slash/Axl (at least) since I from now on only collects those who I have seen live! If anyone have any for sale, please let me know!
That's a great Christmas gift Jan! Good luck on the sigs. You'll like this. My nephew just turned 18, he moved here, got a job. We helped him get a car, a tiny apartment. He's barely surviving on his own. I got him and I a GNR ticket for Christmas. He was so happy! So I wrapped up a box and saved for last from him to me. Inside it said "free transportation to the GNR concert," with $20 for beer. I said, thanks dude! I didn't know how I was getting there.
Thanks Barry! Great story, enjoy the show!!

Again, I think this is the most concerts I've seen in a single year. Mostly indie acts, but well known ones (or soon to be well-known ones) for the most part.

Might as well go ahead and rank them from best to worst in order. Note: I saw CHVRCHES seven times this year and will exclude them from this list as they're in a decidedly different category for me.

1. Aurora

2. Christine & The Queens

3. Birdy

4. Wolf Alice

5. Savages

6. The Julie Ruin

7. Purity Ring

8. Broods

9. Phoebe Ryan

10. The Kills

11. The Joy Formidable

12. Carly Rae Jepsen

13. Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins

14. Bastille

15. Tegan and Sara

16. Jake Bugg

17. Ellie Goulding

18. Wye Oak

19. Margaret Glaspy

20. Death Cab for Cutie

#1 - 5 I'm convinced are among the best live performers out there. Aurora and Christine in particular are superior artists with superstardom very possible in their futures.

This is awesome Rich! Thanks for thanking the time to do this.

No problem - honestly, all of them (with, sorry to say, the exception of Death Cab) were very good if not outstanding live shows. Curious to see what Coach's list looks like (76!!).

Unsure about this year. I'll go to U2's Joshua Tree Tour once or twice. Considering a few other pop acts like Tove Lo/Phoebe Ryan and Jojo. Might catch Julien Baker and Ben Gibbard next week. Young The Giant is on tour, and I've heard many good things about them.

music fest called Boson Calling just moved to a location  1/5 mile from me. I don't now many of the acts-call you recommend any?

Any potential superstars in the making ?

From what I understand, that's a good fest (at one point I considered going to it a couple years back).

This particular lineup isn't my cup of tea, but part of the fest experience I suppose is discovering new music. Of these, I've only seen The 1975, Tegan and Sara, Mac DeMarco and (some of) Run the Jewels, and none of them are acts I necessarily must see again (DeMarco and his stoner crowd are freaking awful to be honest).

On the other hand, I've heard good things about Sigur Ros, Frightened Rabbit and Cage the Elephant, though I have no experience of my own.

many thanks-getting vip tix and will give a review

These are the acts that I have tickets for for 2017.

21 Pilots, Green Day, Tom Petty, Billy Joel, and I'm sure I'll get to U2 one way or another.  Last year I set my personal record of attending 76 shows (I only paid for 14), Not sure I will come close to that number this year.

Wow Coach! You are the king of concerts, just amazing. All I have is GNR tickets so far. And Aaron Lewis playing tonight at the club I work.
