Hello everyone,

as a newcomer to this hobby, I would like to seek your expert opinion regarding these two autographs. Both signatures originate from the same individual.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Roman

Hi  Roman,

Welcome to the forum.

I have never heard of the signer before (I understand she is a Spanish actor) and I can't open your links. Perhaps you could tell us about the supplier and we can provide an opinion on them!

Thank you. She is popular because of the Money Heist show on Netflix, and she gives autographs very rarely. I bought it from a guy on eBay. I could share the link to his profile, but I am not sure if it’s allowed here.

Yes, it's allowed.

Thank you. I was not sure, and I don’t want to be banned on my first day here. 😊

Good shout, better safe than sorry!

Most of those, 99%, outside my areas of interest so cannot comment. I did see a few horrible fakes - Kenneth Branagh, at least one Milly Bobby Brown, Robert de Niro, Johnny Depp. In any collection you will find a few duds - some input from football people would be helpful, here, perhaps.

I am not attracted to this seller but as I say , I am qualified only to give  a very qualified opinion!

I understand. Thank you for your time anyway. I know you are professionals here, so I hope I will learn something and eventually be able to spot forgeries as well. I probably got fooled this time.

It's always best to check-out something you are interested in before committing to purchase but sometimes that isn't practical. But you can always do your own checking - just by, e.g. Google-searching someone's autograph and then checking out the credentials of the image-supplier.

Obviously, an image of her autograph from the Official Ursula Corbero Fan Club, e.g. is much more likely to be a reliable source of identification than ebay-user xyz. And with practice you will learn to recognize sellers who have earned "reliable" reputations.

These may be ok, don't despair.

You are absolutely right, I know. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

I conducted some research and compared it with official reprints and other photos on eBay that have JSA, PSA, or Beckett Certificates of Authenticity. The price was also right. My first autographs were from SWAU, and I love them, so I was hungry for more. However, a red flag came from Beckett Signature Review (likely indicating that they were not genuine), but unfortunately, it was too late.

If the purchase was made less than 14 days ago you have a statutory right to return them for a full refund. That is EU law - the seller is in Spain.
