I've seen different variations of his signature on scanned photos...so I'm not sure what to think. Here it is; let's hear your views.

Val had 2 distinct versions of his autograph one for signing in the streets and one for signing at conventions. In recent years the two have kind of blended together.

This is neither and doesn't match the recent stuff he has signed either.

I would skip it.

I got this through the mail, but I guess I used a bad address. Nothing infuriates me more than getting fakes; I'd prefer nothing over it.

I think all his TTM are secretarial. I have one of his poetry books signed and we've tried several different addresses TTM that has all returned but the TTM ones look nothing like my authentic one on the book.

That sucks; its hard getting autographs when you don't live in California or New York, and the conventions are ridiculously expensive now. When I saw celebs charging $50 and up for their signature, I wanted to yell within earshot of everyone at a con, "its not gold, people!"

These were his convention signings about 10 years ago

These were his "in the streets" autographs...

That's basically how he signed for me at C2E2
