Hello!

I have a seller offering my these autographs (Disney, Hitchcock and Sinatra) that he claims he has inherited from his late father...

He doesn't know much about them, Disney should be from 1959 to 1963, the other two has he no info about...

I think the Disney-autograph has some simularities with this one:

and Hitchcock with this:

What do you think?

Thanks for helping!

I would stay away from all 3 Signatures.

They all appear to be traced Forgeries of the signatures IMHO.

The Sinatra is a traced secretarial signature at best.

The Hitchcock is missing some key charecteristics of his authentic signature.

The Disney is interesting to me. It is an authentic example of Disney's Signature, but I see a few areas under careful examination that show signs of tracing.

If the Seller can provide you with Rock -Solid Provenance on the Disney, that might be one to consider, but I mean very solid evidence...

Thanks, Bob. Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks Bob, I really appreciate your help!

After that I ask for info about when and where Disney were signed the seller asked his mother who apperently should have been present when the autograph were signed.

The story goes that the father (who played in a orchestra/band that toured US between 1959-1963) and mother stopped for gas at a gasstation in Squaw Valley in 1960. They were there for the winter-olympics. The father tried to break a note (sorry, don´t know if that´s correct translated. I hope you understand what I mean...) but the gasstation didn´t have enough change in the cash register so he had to go to a nearby restaurant to try there. When he didn´t return for a while the mother also went in and found him standing at a table there Walt Disney were signing some autographs. This one is signed on a page that were torn from a book right there and then.

That´s the pretty detailed story...

When I googled I found out that Disney produced the opening and closing ceremonies at the Squaw Valley-olympics so at least he could have been there at that moment...

PS. Sorry for my bad english... :-(

After I received his fully name I did a little "investigation" and the seller is a known forger...

Thank you all for your help!!
