I saw a guy post an ad saying he's looking to sell his memorabilia collection. I met up with him to see a few items and EVERYTHING is from ACE. The worst problem? People in my area (downtown Toronto) are thinking his garbage is real and are buying it. Jordan signed jerseys for $350, Lebron signed photos for $30, Ali signed gloves for $50. All this crap is flooding the market. When I ask how he obtained it, he said auction houses. He sent me an e-mail of an auction house stating that they believe in ACE and he told me it was from Heritage Auctions. I looked it up and I never found Heritage Auctions using ACE. Kept on looking and found "Live Sports Auctions" that has the EXACT same crap he sells. What's funny is that he told me he's selling off his collection, but he continues to get more. Their "monthly" auction recently ended and he just put up some new ads.

Basically the opposite of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMxX-QOV9tI

If I need to replace a hubcap I will purchase one from my dealer.  Unfortunately some people would rather purchase one from some guy on the street.

Live Sports Auctions had a great deal of JSA, PSA and NFL authenticated items in their beginning. I think they have been in business for less than a year. Gradually the "good" stuff was purchased and the ACE "authenticated" items didn't sell. Now, almost all of their items are ACE or worse. It seems to be a dumping ground for those items.
