Weird looking Springsteen Autograph

Never seen one quite like this even though it comes from a good source. It's an earlier one (or attempt).

Thoughts?

This does not resemble Bruce’s signature in any period in my opinion.

Looks like someone bought a fake signature (although the drawing and handwriting look legit).
