I like that it is in full view...Obviously not the MOST area to work with in signing this, although seems good to me in the key strokes... WSY?
I would think it'd be just about impossible to make a call on something that sloppy. Other than a vague semblance of an H, you really have nothing there. Personally, I just don't want autographs that look like that unless I got it myself and it has some sort of sentimental value.
I don't think it is sloppy at all. He wanted to write it on a visible area and that was the only spot. It was verified....It is good enough for Star Wars....it's good enough for me. I am just sharing it around to see what people think...Thanks for your opinion, but today's actors write sloppy. We are not in the 1940's anymore. I was actually lucky enough to get it on a Star wars photo. He was in Chicago going through a hotel, my reliable and very notably recognizable source whose friends extend here on this page, tells me;-)
Definitely more to work with there! I'm not one of the better forum experts on Ford, but - if authentic - that's decidedy more of in ideal example.
Thank you. On the Star Wars, you always take what you can get! Those are always keepers. If the other was a regular photo, I agree...it would be sad... haha....But as you can see on this one, there was more room to work with regards the signature based on the color contrast of the felt than it was on the one from "Han Solo's:
The Han Solo autograph is mostly atypical of Harrison Ford's in-person autographs, although it does contain one particular typical trait. The Indiana Jones autograph is typical of Harrison Ford's in-person autographs. I agree with Rich's initial assessment. I will not comment on the second Indiana Jones autograph regardless of what I may feel about it. No need to test members here Robert. All the best.
Well, this is the place you should comment, Mike. Btw, every one of these was an in-person sign, based on the seller I have known to only sell in person autographs. The only thing I am uncertain about are the dates these were signed. Seems like the lengthier one in the 2nd was the oldest.. ;-)
All The Best to you too.. :)
I agree about the dates Robert. That information would be very helpful, particularly regarding the second Indiana Jones autograph. It still concerns me a little bit.
From the exemplars I looked at, Mike, Ford would write the longer way in the 90's.. He then constricted his letters in the 2000's and mid... That 2nd one looks to me like one of the 90's.. I see a bit of a similarity with the others with regard to the "F", "H" and "D's" (The 2 or 3 hoops under)
