What Do you know about mr.sloane (ebay) Brian May and Roger Taylor autographs

Hello people!

He is selling various signed vinyls by Brian May and Roger Taylor from 2008 (he says..).

To me it's strange because all of them are signed in the same way.

They look fine to me. Brian is genuine and Roger looks sloppy but I've seen many a Roger just like it from people I know who got it in person. But Brian and Roger sign everyday. If you're not 100% on any item of theirs, find another you're more comfortable with. There are plenty to choose from

Hi Chris,

There is another thread on Mr. Sloane on this site somewhere. I was the author of the thread, because i too was questioning whether his items were good or not. I dont think a definitive answer was ever given, if i recall correctly. The issue i was having, was basically the same one you are referring too. At the time, i was looking for John Renbourn and Bert Jansch autographs. So when i would search ebay ever day, i would always check out Pentangle items to see if i could get one at a good deal. And Sloane at that time, had alot of them (4 to 6 i think). A fully signed Pentangle item is not cheap, and i was thinking of making a purchase. The problem was, they all looked the same as you say, and something didnt seem right. All the certified examples i had studied were different than those that were offered by him. There also were a few other guitar players that i looked at of his items back then that didnt seem right. But i have to admit, im no expert on there signatures. That was just my own observation and opinion. I do think he sells some legit items, but others gave me pause, at least years ago when i was interested in some of his items. Others may be more helpful though. And before purchase, i would run the item past PSA QO, or Roger Epperson to see what they think

I asked to RareandSigned and they say that they are genuine.. I don't know hehe Probably they are genuine because He's selling singles without Freddie Mercury and John Deacon Signatures..

Rarrandsigned sucks. But it doesn't take allot to get a genuine Brian and Roger on an item. The Brian is genuine. The Roger looks sloppy. A genuine Brian and Roger without John and Fred is a dime a dozen. They sign stuff together ALL the time. You can even send stuff into Brian via mail, and he will sign them by hand himself and return it.

His name is Louis Moruzzi and I have purchased from him only because I knew the material.  It was a band named Gene, album was Be My Light Be My Guide.  Doubt many people are out there forging that.  He knew where and when it was signed, but doesn't mean he got it signed himself, He has offered to buy some of my Clash Stuff and his first question was where and when was it signed.  I did not sell anything to him and I don't feel he is out to deceive anybody, but I can say he certainly isn't out there pounding the streets getting everything signed himself.  He certainly has some gems

I agree John. I think he is probably a legit seller who is running a memorabilia business. But i think he may have purchased a few duds along the way. But that happens to everyone i suppose. I might have been to critical on the pentangle items when i viewed them years ago. Probably fine to buy from. But nowadays i run everything past Epperson or PSA QO as precautions before i buy. Dont know that ill be buying autographs again, but if i do, thats the route i will go.

Rare and signed is on ebays banned list of COAs i believe.

There are small differences in the Brian and Roger signed items as far as I can see but again, some do look very close (but still very genuine). If they make you uncomfortable, just scroll a bit further down eBay and pick up another Brian and Roger signed piece. Like I said, they are a dime a dozen. Brian signs a minimum of 50 sigs a day without counting his book signings (of which he has done at least 10 in the past month alone). Roger is the same (minus the book signings). Hope that helps.
A pretty hilarious fake.
It's one that can trick a new queen collector with the best wishes and Freddie, but it's a fake fora few reasons. Not to mention the Brian is a joke. the forger sells thru eBay and rareandsigned.

OK Innuendo this is my last question, What do you think?
