Hello everyone,

While doing my daily searches for authentic Prince autographs, i ran across this gem being offered on ebay UK. The seller admits it has no authentication, but states it was signed for a Warner Brothers employee.

I personally dont think this matches any recent or past Prince signature style. I suppose it could be an extremely early signature, but i doubt it. It definetly was not signed after 1980 in my opinion. And im confident that the item is a poor forgery. But thought i would run it by everyone. What does everyone think? A very early signature style, or bad fake? I am leaning heavy on bad fake, but i could be wrong.

Nevermind, i think i just confirmed my suspicions.  I just looked up the release date on this album, and it was in 1987. This certainly doesnt match any of Princes signature styles from that time or after 87 for that matter. Unless he changed his signature completely for "Andy", then its a fake.

This is an example of Prince's signature circa 1988 courtesy of Bjarne:

I don't claim to know anything about his autograph or his style of writing, but what I find funny is the word "from".  It reads like a fake school kids note "From So&So's Mom".  Is it typical for him to put "from" into his sigs?  (I have no clue honestly) .
