I'm considering a drumhead which includes the signature shown.  Initially, I was simply looking for sample signatures for my own comparison, but a google search brought me here.  To my very untrained eye, the signature looks reasonably correct with the exception of the 'g' loop at the bottom.  The label shown is taped to the drumhead.  My google search didn't return anything about J.S. Sports Investments.

Thanks in advance for any and all thoughts.

Thanks for all of the advice.  I really appreciate it.  For anyone who may care, the auction includes hundreds of items and can be found here:

I have nothing to do with the seller or auctioneer.  I'm just a big fan of Ringo, so I'm glad I found this site.

I wouldn't touch this Ringo. Its shocking to know that the man still signed his fan mail up until a few years ago.
I don't know Mike.  Many seems to think he was actually good in the mail. Ringo Starr yes and Tony Curtis no?  Funny stuff.

Thanks

this Ringo signature is not authentic

He or his company doesn't excist, i used to work at an auction house owned by crooks in the cincinnati area "EASTON AUCTION COMPANY"which unfortunity is still in business where the guy who claims to be him would bring car loads of autographs at a time. I asked him on more than one occasion where he got all his stuff and every single time he would act like i didn't say anything and keep going about his business. One night when i got home i Googled the name John Scarborough and J.S. sports investments and found nothing!!! The next day when i went into work i asked the owner of the place about the guy and told him the way he would ignore me when i'd ask him that and that i Googled the company and it didn't and he got very offensive and tried to avoid the subject. I mean seriously who in the hell would have the money to month after month buy car loads of autographs and some of very very famous people "Babe Ruth" for example, just to re sell them at auction for a fraction of what somebody would have to pay if they "WERE" real. They have entire auctions on Proxybid once a month where 98% of the stuff is from this one guy.GET REAL!!! So pretty much what it comes down to is don't buy any autograph if this guy's name is anyway associated with it.
