This one looks a bit strange spacing between the letter wize. Also what's up with the color what type of ink is this?

Hopefully not an operation bullpen one? I used to see mantle autographed photos at the local card shop and often wondered is this fake? This was back when anyone believed it was authentic because it had a coa. I feel those days are over for the serious collector. But I'm sure it still tricks people out there.

I hope not. Ive had the photo since 2001 and have not had it authenticated. It has a coa from REENIS COMICARDARIE dated 1996. Which is obviously pre- Psa era.

Hmm i dont know how his signature progressed and so fourth. And when he started doing the half moon shapes.

he started the half moon that characterized his signatures around 1960. the ball is authentic, the photo is not, in my opinion.
