I pre-ordered a bundle for The Velvet Rose, the new book by Duff McKagan's wife, from its publisher; the book comes autographed by her, and it also includes a 7-inch vinyl record by the fictional band in the book, signed by Duff.

The bundle showed up today and the Duff signature doesn't resemble Duff signatures I got in person at all. Maybe it's how he signs if he isn't rushed, but I'm kind of surprised by this. Before I complain to her publisher, I figured I'd ask here if he's ever signed in this style before. Here's a shot of it next to the ones I got in person — any thoughts?

Looks real

Duff is a tuff one. Just when you think you know his style he throws another curve ball at you which although genuine, doesnt look any thing like the one he does most often

Oh hang on Clive - i retract that statement. I just noticed Tim G posted the previous reply and as well documented in this forum, Tim will buy anything with a Guns N' Roses signature on it and gets very upset if you question his "expertise". Although Duff has been known to vary his signature a bit over the years, i havent seen one resembling the one you received with Susan's book. That doesnt look real to me and it's a shame he/she/they feel they have to include a Duff signature to try and sell more copies. I'd definitely contact the publisher if i were you. This will be my only thread in this post as Tim G is about to GO OFF ANY MINUTE!! Good luck!
