What's the wierdest thing you have seen up for auction?

ok, aside from the forgeries, autopens, secretarials and so on...

I saw this posted for some of EBay's top Ten and thought we could have a lighter moment

I am surprised a Ghost Relic Card hasn't come out yet..... it would be the prefect article as how could you dispute whether it's there or not!

So if you have one (a picture or a link) feel free to add it to the list....

for me it's the "abundance" of all these Relic cards like the "dirt" NEAR Jesse James' grave as I continually wonder how near would that be exactly

I think the weirdest i have ever seen would have to be various animal penis's, the one i used to see the most of was raccoon penis's. And its not like i was looking for them, promise, lol. I am interested in taxidermy also, and i used to search alot on ebay for good offers on taxidermy supplies and animals. Their were times when i would search the term rare taxidermy, and would get the raccoon penis result. Which is really odd because they arent rare, and all that it really is, is a small bone like structure. What is even stranger is that when you mount an animal that is a male, you dont use that bone for anything, its trash. You use either molded genitalia, or stuff that area with material to make it look right, but i assure you that bone isnt used for anything. So people must have just taken it for jollies. And even stranger.... people were bidding on it. They probably are still offering them on their if you care to search, lol

Many years ago I saw a Lock of Washingtons hair...if it was real or not who knows but that was quite insane...huge dollars

@chris, lol - no thanks... besides they might start turning up on relic cards as from some historical perspective.

@cee gee - the hair relic stuff is just too funny as espeically in provenance. Next time I visit Joe the Barber I'm gonna see if we can't entertain something like - db's hair graced "my" floor!

just read of another one (perhaps more clever) but the municipality is selling the naming rights for it's local creek on ebay. thus if you'd like to rename the west drainage ditch in Kalona Iowa - well there ya go!

That would have to be Kathy Bates' bra, autographed. I bought it and the others they had at a silent auction for a women's center in Los Angeles. I have a picture somewhere...I should dig it up.

those celebrity bras appear for all sorts of charities crack me up especially the prices that some of them go for. somehow I can't envision having one framed right alongside of the Joe Montana jersey...

I seen a man talk to Bruce Lee's spirit and signed a piece of paper which he claimed Bruce done it for him (on youtube)... The signature was nothing like Bruce's funnily enough, he sold it on ebay cannot mind how much it went for.
