Hello,
I'm new here, but I wanted to ask a question. I have this print, and I am getting this person's autograph next weekend. I was wandering what would be the best marker to use and what color?
I thought about a sharpie, but someone mentioned the acid in the sharpie could cause it to bleed. A guy I talked with suggested an acid free permanent pen. I found this one at Hobby Lobby. It is a Perma Writer II Marker.
Also, I made a copy of the print to see what color would be best. I used a black sharpie and a silver sharpie. The black seemed to do better than the silver, but I wanted to ask the experts on here :).
Thank you so much for any help you can give. I want this to last a long, long, time.

I have some of these prints and the black sharpie works fine. But what ever you go with just make sure it's primed and ready to go and does write well. The bad part is you can't test it on what you want signed to see if you will get the results you want.
But definitely don't get a fine point tip make sure it's a medium tip and if you do go with a sharpie take some of the point off of the tip but they normally have sharpies at signings.
So where are you going to get this signed? I hope to see him here in Huntsville on January 29th. I didn't even know that Marcel Dareus was even in Huntsville this past Saturday.
I am going this weekend as well. I have pre-ordered my tickets so hopefully it won't take as long.
Someone on another board just said something about the acid in a Sharpie could hurt the print so that is why I thought about a different marker. Thank you!
Have you got the same print autographed before?
Where did you preorder your tickets and do you know where they are having the signing.
I haven't been able to get any information.
You can go to famousink.com. Also, the signing is at Parkway Place Mall on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
I was curious if you got this print autographed before? I'm just worried about it not showing up well. Thank you!
Not this particular print but some very similar. You can try and supply your own pin but they move the line so fast sometimes it's hard to keep up with them.
Maybe we will see you there.
I would say get the black signature on his numbers depending on the size of the print or silver on the black mat area.
I have not seen this print in person so I have no idea what it looks like or how big it is.
Wow I didn't realize I was going to have to pay his entire 7 digits salay myself. ;-)
I went ahead and bought all of my stuff also and included an extra one for a nephew.
That was really expensive but hopefully worth it.
Do you think any of the prebuys will get to move up or just stand in line when you get there?
By the way you can see my authenticated team signed football from last year on here in my sports album in my picture area.
It was a little more expensive than I like to pay, but I think it will be worth it. I'm getting that print signed and a football signed.
The way I understand it is they will call out ticket numbers in groups of 100. So I think I got a ticket in that range so when they call that particular group, I will go up in no particular order and line up. So those who pre-ordered real early will get up faster so no long lines to wait in. That is what I took from it when I talked with the company putting it in.
I did look at your football. That is cool. I am working on one myself. Where did you pick up all your autographs? I've got mine just through these type events. I don't do A day or anything because I heard the lines are crazy. I hope to see you there. I think it may get crazy :).
Where did you get your ticket number I just pre -bought all of my autographs but I didn't see anything about an actual line ticket?
I didn't see any thing like a line ticket so not sure.
I got most at various events and other peopl helping me out at events I couldn't make it to and then I help them at events they can't get to.
