Definitely no. This is secretarial all the way. It was signed by JFK secretary, Priscilla Wear.

Thanks, James. You really know your JFK sigs. Poor guy selling it thinks he's got the real deal.

Would you mind if I send you a PM containing a JFK item I'm seriously considering bidding on? First, I already know it is the "real deal," because it's being offered by RR Auctions and it has been certified. I'd like to know what you think of it.

I have to pursue JFK items that really aren't that popular with the SERIOUS JFK collector with unlimited funds to get the good stuff, specifically, stuff signed while he was president.

Below is a link to the JFK item. As you will see, it's an unusually clear signature, along with the date, and location.

Hi, Garrett. Yes, feel free to send me a personal email. As for the JFK in the link, I think it’s a very nice piece, and I’m guessing JFK must have liked it too or else he would not have been willing to sign it. Look at it this way...it’s a JFK-approved sketch of himself!

Sometime I’ll have to send you a picture of the portrait print of JFK that he signed in October, 1962. The writing was a bit faded, but not too bad. But the price I let that go for was really foolish. However, the buyer was a jerk and knew that he could manipulate me because I had to sell it to raise funds for another item. I had already sold it to him on the cheap, relatively speaking. He was unhappy because the portrait was apparently glued into the original frame back in 1962, a fact I thought I had pointed out. However, it did not take away from a very nice item that was signed as President...for a close friend of Hubert Humphrey! Anyway I ended up discounting it 50% so he would not send it back. I really wish I still had it.
