so a few weeks ago i had antique seller guy a from antwerp here in belguim to come buy my old stove and told him about the problem i had with antiquities , and he said i will give you a 100 euro's for it and i exepted knowing that antiquities would never give me a refund , and then yesterday when i looked at my page here on this site i saw it had been on ebay  for sale again , what is wrong with people these days, like jim said money beats soul!

I'm confused Bart, the guy you knowingly sold a forgery to is trying to sell it on EBAY and YOU think that's wrong and wonder what's wrong with people these days? Curious what you think of your actions selling the guy something you knew was a probable forgery in the first place.

Unless I'm missing something your pointing out a guy selling a forgery and then state money beats soul. Do you not consider yourself guilty of doing the same?

I think I may be missing something as well.??? This item is on ebay?? Bart sent me this items about 3 weeks ago and I wrote him out a full letter examination. I explained to him that all 3 signatures on the record were not authentic. Bart asked me to help him obtain a refund, How can it be on Ebay?

It was offered for sale on eBay yesterday by seller "mrmojori", obviously a Doors fan, and with the same pics posted here on AML. It was quickly removed by eBay. It wasn't purchased from Heroes and Legends. It was purchased from Antiquities. The signatures have been authenticated by Drew Max, which would seemingly rule out any possibility of anyone receiving a refund from Heroes and Legends. Besides, he isn't even supposed to be the current owner of the 45.

Bart, contacted my yesterday via e-mail and asked me how he can get a refund from Antiquities. This story seems to have many twist and turns. I would assume that Heroes & Legends sold it to Antiquities who had this item examined and authenticated by Drew Max. If this is the case Bart would need to directly contact the seller with all his documentation.

I'm getting that Bart sold this album to another person after he knew is was a probable forgery. Why would they give him a refund. Their argument is going to be that,"you sold it to". sure Bart has his story claiming he told the other guy it was a fake. There is no proof that he did. Folks will just substitute reasoning like, who would pay 100 Euros for a forgery. A lot of money for just a record 45.

The whole story is starting to make no sense !! Bart why did you contact me yesterday and ask me to help you get a refund when you do not have the signed record?  Why would you sell a record that you had to of paid over $1000 for and send it to me for examination paying me $50 w/ shipping for $100 ? I sent you back the record on Jan 5th and it had to take over a week to get to you, when did this transaction take place? Why did you call Antiquities last week for a refund, when you did not even have the record to return.. Again I do not like where this story is going.

wel MICHEAL i asked you for help because , i sold it thats treu but i think if i contact my friend again who came with the antiqeu seller i might be able to get it back now that he could not sel it on ebay anymore  so thats why i contacted you even if i dont have it with me , and now it seems to be real  il try a little harder getting it back,  i still had it last week  i had to try to get a refund but they didnt want to give it to me .

Bart, sorry to call it but I think your whole story is BS. Now you think you could contact the friend, who contacts the antique dealer to get it back. yeah right.

I think you were part of the attempt to resale it on EBAY and you drug Michael Frost into this after your friend who tried to sell it for you had his auction yanked.

Probably need to let this go. Not getting any better.

I agree, Rick.

Also, the OP's opening thread reads "I had it authenticated by PAAS."

It should read "I had it examined by PAAS."   Mr. Frost did not authenticate it.

What do you mean when you state that "now it seems to be real"?

wel thats what heroes & legends  says isnt it , who am i suposed to believe , they al say i am not telling the trooth  i am glad i got rid of it its given me nothing but bad luck , i give up .
