Mine was an autographed photo from Joan Crawford. As most of you know, she was a good responder to fan letters and a good signer. I obtained hundreds of signed photos and autographs as a kid and started to sell them on Ebay but will never let go of this first one ever received.

Mine is an in-person autographed photo of Anson Williams, back in 1984.
Rocky Colavito a baseball player for the Detroit Tigers at the time i got him was in person 1961 of the team bus. I was ten years old it was after a red sox game. Rocky opened the bus window and signed in my autograph album that i bought at the 5 and 10 store. I could not reach the window and my father who is now 95 yrs old helped pick me up so that I could stand on the bus tire. I still have that autograph book that i gave to my son who also collects. At the time I remmber thinking how great it was to met and get a signature something personal from a great ballplayer on TV who hit homeruns and had the best arm in baseball. I just looked up Rocky's records and he was a semi hofer a super star for sure he hit four hrs in one game, 20 hrs 11 seasons in a row and was on 6 All-Star teams. He also is a cult figure after Cleveland traded him they did not win a pennant for many years.

MY MOVIE MEMORABILIA AND MORE
my mother actually got me started, she got a Howdy Doody signed 8x10 when she was a kid and it made me think I should start collecting and writing, think I might have gotten Weird Al Yankovic, Jim Varney or Mister Rogers as one of my first ones
The first autograph I can ever remember getting and still have is of former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jim Everett. I got it through the mail. The first autograph I ever got period was of David Justice when he played for the Atlanta Braves. He signed this plastic Little League baseball that evenutally faded completely away. The autograph is gone, but the memory is as vivid as if it were yesterday. He was at the time, and still is to this day, one of my favorite baseball players.
