I have gotten Pete on his recent book tour and while his autograph is kind of strange, there are enough similarities through the years.  My question is on this magazine piece.  While the books were signed in a controlled atmosphere, this was not.  (on the streets of NYC according to seller).  He may be hard to authenticate, so was asking for opinions.

Actually it may not be Pete, but it does resemble him, and it is a Guitar mag, so maybe he signed it because of that.  I've seen Pete in crowds, he really doesnt look at what he is signing that much.

I tend to agree with Clark.  I have a few Pete's, both fast and slow.  It doesn't look right to me but that's not to say it couldn't be authentic.  The symmetry just looks off to me.
